A shared resource for ultra-efficient work

Eliminating bulky workflows from the creative process.

The challenge:
The creative process has its share of tiny, administrative tasks (think: vocal tuning, gear repair, file organization), many of which are necessary but extremely time-consuming.

Although our clients are resourceful and multi-talented, we needed to find a way to complete these tasks without overloading their schedules. Because whether you’re a producer, songwriter or engineer, where you spend your time is how you make your living.

The solution:
Good Folk hired an in-house engineer to assist with the day-to-day production needs so clients could focus on what matters most, making music. This small change in workflow gave back hours of each work day to every single client on our Good Folk roster.

Our in-house engineer worked with clients both in-person and remotely, depending on their varied schedules. Plus, since we had duplicates of all required software and licenses, they could pick up right where they needed to in the session.

Now things like mix prep, stem delivery, and session cleanups are handed off without hesitation, allowing the creative process to continue without hassle. It seems like a small change, but the time saved compounds across weeks and months. We’re always happy to find creative solutions that allow our clients to focus on building their careers for the long run.
